Tip: Book the morning ferry tour to avoid large cruise ship crowds, and be sure to bring waterproof clothing.

Very comfortable bus, lots of great information shared along the way, everything ran on time and Andrei went out of his way to show us very, very special spots. We loved it.

  Great way to see some hidden places; not necessarily to learn more about the area - We booked this trip so that we could get out of Tromso and see more of the area with a small group. The size of the group is really ideal... read more in terms of traveling. The areas where we stopped we would not have found on our own, and we really did get to take some amazing photos. We saw reindeer sitting on the beach! I think where the tour was less strong was the guide and the pictures he took. We thought we'd learn a lot about the area, but he didn't talk much on the bus and only chatted with participants individually for the most part. He seemed to know a lot, and shared when asked, but it wasn't really a "tour" per se. While we got some amazing photos, we were excited to see his photos. Alas, we received three, and they were just okay. He had taken tons when we saw the reindeer, but we were not sent any of those in the link. So, if you want to get out and see some hidden gems, this can be a great way to do it. Just don't expect much in terms of learning or photos from the guide. As a result, I think the price is a bit high for what you get. Our photos from that day are truly spectacular and we enjoyed the day nonetheless.

  Best Northern Lights Trip - We had George as our guide to chase the northern lights. It was a fun trip, with George telling jokes and sharing insights on northern lights throughout the trip. He... read more also shared with us photography tips and a few photos of us taken during the trip. Trip included hot tea and cake. George also set up fire in the middle of the trip to keep us warm and was kind enough to drop us back to the hotel after the trip. It's truly the best northern lights trip!

George's enthusiasm of the lights was so infectious that my husband and I went chasing for the lights on our own a few days after and we managed to see it! Thanks George!

We were lucky to have blue skies and the sun appeared, albeit behind the hills, to add some lovely colours to our photos.... read more Our tour guide George was very friendly and helpful, and took photos which were later emailed to us at no charge. He gave us some interesting facts throughout the tour and looked after us very well. He was happy make an impromptu stop for us to photograph the sunrise and the reindeer. Lunch at the beach was fun, a walk through snow up to our knees to a cute little hut where George lit a wood fire in the centre and served hot drinks (fruit tea or coffee) and a whole loaf tin sized cake each! There were eleven of us on the tour, the bus obviously takes 16, it was comfortable and George was a great driver. Would recommend this tour.

Unfortunately we couldn't see it from our first location and relocated in another area where we were lucky enough to see it.

He's very knowledgeable about the northern lights and shared his wisdom with us, even showed me how to better capture the lights with my phone.

While we were watching the lights, Andrei made a small fire to keep us warm, gave us coffee, tea and a delicious snack.

Everything was superb.
